In colder climes, your car kit also needs a foldable shovel, chains for your tires and a portable charger for your car battery. Everyone needs duct tape — it can close a wound, keep your tailpipe attached, and immobilize humans who try to take your stuff.

There’s also a bottle of bourbon in mine, but maybe that’s just me.
