She had a point :-). I’m not totally negative about the Women’s March; maybe because I grew up in the 1960’s and spent half my childhood on a picket line with my parents. I feel a mystical power in mass protest, and I did that day as well, despite its overwhelming whiteness, straightness and affluence. There were other, smaller protests all weekend which were more diverse, intersectional, and fun — including a huge LGBTQ dance down the middle of Pennsylvania Avenue which was the highlight of the inauguration for me. :-).
